A 170-year-old historic house, lovingly and sensitively renovated to preserve its original charm. It is located right in the historic centre of Banská Štiavnica, just a few minutes’ walk from Trinity Square, yet tucked away in a quiet street where you won’t be disturbed by the crowds. From the house, you can enjoy a unique view of all the main mining towers of Štiavnica. Its distinctive character is enhanced by installations of original graphic and photographic works by Slovak fine art photographer Peter W. Haas – a specialist in analogue techniques – and by young visual artist and graphic designer Nina Haasová. This is why we named our home Gallery Residence. You can book the entire house or just one of its apartments.

The house covers an area of 155 m², spans two floors, and offers 11 full-size beds and 4 extra beds, making it ideal for families as well as groups of friends.

  • a large attic room with a double bed, an additional bed and a double sofa bed, with its own bathroom,
  • a second attic room with three beds and another bathroom,
  • stunning views of Štiavnica’s historic towers.

• Gallery Apartment 2 can be connected with Gallery Apartment 1 to create one generous space, giving you access to the entire Gallery Residence house at a special rate.
